during my final year at university, i was part of the heels society, where i trained and performed in heels while also contributing creatively and organisationally behind the scenes.
i had the opportunity to teach classes, choreograph routines and help manage the society — experiences that shaped my interest in choreography, teaching and creating spaces around heels dance while maintaining a positive environment for all dancers.

for a private hen party, i created and choreographed a heels routine specifically for the event as heelswithcyrus.
this was the beginning of developing heelswithcyrus as a platform for bringing heels performance and choreography into different spaces and experiences.
